Pink and Peach Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Sarah and Al met on the side patio at Hangar 21 South for their first look. Sarah was dressed in a strapless, lace wedding gown and Al was suited up in navy with a light pink tie. With a tap of the shoulder, Al turned around and tears filled his eyes when he saw his bride for the first time that day. The two shared a warm embrace and exchanged sweet compliments, then were joined by their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids wore different shades of pink and the groomsmen wore light grey. The group wandered around the venue creating memories that were captured on film, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived, signed Sarah and Al’s guest book, then took a seat. A wooden arbor stood on the stage and was decorated in pink, peach, and white flowers as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was accounted for, Al made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Sarah. In front of their closest friends and family, the couple read personalized vows, exchanged rings, broke bread, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlywed’s cheerfully exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

The bar was serving up Old Fashioned signature cocktails along with other refreshing concoctions, beer, and wine. Guests enjoyed light bites of Crab Cakes, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, and a real treat, a Bao Bar with Roasted Pork Belly and Korean Bulgogi Beef. While everyone mixed and mingled on the tarmac, the bride and groom headed to the helicopter for their flight over Orange County. Everyone watched as they took off into the sky, and before long, they were touching back down for dinner.

Inside the hangar, tables were topped with bud vases filled with greenery and flowers to match the sweetheart table where the ceremony arbor was repurposed. Everyone cheered as Sarah and Al made their grand entrance from the tarmac into the hangar just in time for reception. A dinner of Mango Papaya Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Coconut Lime Rice, Stir Fry Vegetables, Vermicelli Noodle Salad, Seasonal Fresh Fruit, and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls was served as toasts were made. Friends and family shared their fondest memories and glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended. Next, Sarah and Al cut into their wedding cake and served slices to their guests. After a little something sweet, the bride and groom hosted a traditional tea ceremony to honor their parents. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom a lifetime of happiness.
