Pink Peony Wedding at Serra Plaza

Draped archways set the scene for Jisso and Jason’s first look in the courtyard at Serra Plaza. A tap on the shoulder turned Jason around to see his beautiful wife standing before him and smiles filled both their faces. Sweet compliments were shared and photos of the couple were taken. Not long after, the wedding party joined in for group pictures, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and took a seat in the courtyard. Pink flowers lined both sides of the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain as the ceremony backdrop and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of their friends and family, Jason and Jisoo read personal vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed inside the lounge for cocktail hour and the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Mojito. Everyone mixed and mingled with the bride and groom, then it was time for reception.

Back in the courtyard, tables were draped in white and topped with pink floral centerpieces. Guests found their seats and watched as the newlyweds made their grand entrance. Jisoo and Jason shared their first dance and took a seat at their sweetheart table for dinner and toasts. Ensalada Las Mesas. Was served first, followed by Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs and Honey Ginger Glazed Salmon with Gochujang Brussels Sprouts and Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air, and just when dinner was complete, it was time for dessert! Jason and Jisso cut into their marble cake with chocolate Bavarian filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice. The evening lots of dancing and plenty of photos taken at the photo booth as keepsakes.
