Planner Life Academy at The Estate on Second

We had the pleasure of recently accommodating LVL Weddings & Events for their Planner Life Academy at The Estate on Second. The LVL team brought together eager attendees and instructors from the wedding industry to participate in a workshop where they would learn and teach the fundamentals and best practices of the industry over a 3 day period. Something different they focused on that strayed from their usual curriculum was planning weddings during a pandemic. Other topics included the art of mastering the floral mock up including rentals and linens, styling desserts and invitation suites, how to properly cut a wedding cake, how to create perfect timelines, and more. During the 3 day workshop, we provided appetizing meals to the attendees and hosts, because what’s an event without amazing food?! Our Sales Director, Hannah, knew exactly what would be deliciously fitting for this event and created a 3 day menu of Ellie’s Table Vegetarian Quiche, Ellie’s Table Bacon Quiche, Vegan Gourmet Breakfast Burritos, Ellie’s Table Bacon, Egg, Scallion, Pepper Jack Breakfast Burritos,  Ellie’s Table Egg White, Spinach and Mushroom Breakfast Burritos with salsa, Grilled Veggie Wraps, Cabo Chicken Wraps, Lemon and Thyme Chicken Gourmet Boxed Lunches with Chocolate Raspberry Decadence desserts, Vegan Power Quinoa Salad, Grilled Chicken and Pear Salad, and Individual Charcuterie Boxes.

Vignettes of soft blue and vibrant pink were set up in the Crystal Ballroom and Attic to replicate two different dining settings that attendees would engage in learning activities at. The first table was set with a velvety blue-grey linen, wooden chairs, silver flatware and ceramic plates. Atop each plate was a floral accent and name card and down the middle of the table, bundles of light pink, peach, yellow and cream flowers added a pop of color. The table upstairs in the Attic was set with an ivory linen and modern pink and gold chairs. Different shades of pink flowers filled each vessel and a single light pink rose was placed on top of each charger next to a folded napkin. Tall pink candlesticks were scattered down the center of the table accompanied by smaller gold candles to complete the look. Attendees went from station to station interacting and taking notes before wrapping up on the final day of the workshop.
