Pop of Blue Serra Plaza Wedding

Michelline and Tyler met in the Serra Plaza for their first look after getting ready in the Lounge and Bridal Suite. With the okay from their photographer, Tyler turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a white off-the-shoulder wedding dress holding a bouquet of blue and white flowers. The couple exchanged sweet compliments, read heartfelt vows that brought happy tears to their eyes, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests found their way to Serra Plaza’s draped archways, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then found a seat in the Courtyard. Blue and white flowers mixed with greenery lined both sides of the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain backdrop. Once everyone was seated, a live violinist began playing as the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Tyler and Michelline recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed their ceremony with a kiss.

Tables were draped in white linens and topped with flickering candles inside the Lounge for cocktail hour. Crab Cakes and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls were tray passed while the bar served up beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Ranch Water and Mango Margarita. While everyone mixed and mingled, Michelline and Tyler snuck away for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return to cocktail hour, they posed for photos with guests and invited everyone back into the Courtyard for the reception.

Sparkling chandeliers hung above tables topped with fresh floral centerpieces. Michelline and Tyler made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, the took a seat at their sweetheart table. Huli Huli Chicken, Whole Pig, Jasmine Rice, Hawaiian Style Potato Macaroni Salad, Stir Fry Vegetables, and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls were served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. After dinner, guests were invited to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended back inside the Lounge where guests waved around glow sticks while showing off their best dance moves.
