Pop of Orange at Hangar 21 South

Jenny finished getting ready upstairs in the Bridal Suite at Hangar 21 South while Peter was waiting on the tarmac for their first look. Jenny, in her tulle and lace wedding gown, was followed by her bridesmaids in orange and yellow dresses outside where they were greeted with puppy kisses. Peter stood anxiously awaiting his bride in a black tux, and with a brush of the shoulder, he turned around as tears filled his eyes. Jenny was beaming from ear to ear standing in front of him. Emotions overcame the two of them and a warm embrace was shared along with pets for their dog happily sitting beside them. The bridal party then rushed over oohing and aahing over the couple before lining up for the ceremony.

A triangular arbor was set center stage and decorated in bundles of orange and white flowers. Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat under romantic, hanging market lights. Music cued up and the bridal party made their entrance. Last but not least, everyone stood as Jenny walked down the aisle over to Peter. The bride and groom exchanged handwritten vows in front of their closest friends and family, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. Their cute puppy lead the way out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour on the tarmac.

A craft cocktail sign created with portraits of their cat and dog stood on the bar top with the newlyweds signature cocktails: The Old Fashioned and Paloma, or The “Jane” and The “Sammy” named after their pets. Crab Cakes and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were individually plated and enjoyed as the bride and groom mingled with guests before being seated for dinner. Just inside the hangar, tables were draped in ivory linen and emerald napkins sat atop each plate. Floral centerpieces accompanied by candles decorated the tops of every table and a seating chart led guests to their assigned seats. Everyone cheered as the bride and groom entered into their first dance and danced like no one was watching. After, a delicious dinner was served. Our Sales Director, Hannah, along with the bride and groom pre-selected the perfect menu for their special evening. Kalua Pork with Pineapple and Brown Sugar Glaze, Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken, Papaya Salad, Jasmine Rice, and Stir Fry Vegetables filled plates and bellies while toasts were shared. After dinner, donuts for dessert were shared and the couple made their rounds to each table to thank guests for coming. The evening ended with a sparkler send off for the happy newlyweds just outside.
