Pop of Pink Wedding at The Rose Center

Inside the Bridal Suite at the Rose Center, Doris zipped up the back of her beaded appliqué wedding gown and slipped on her Jimmy Choo heels. With her bouquet in hand, Doris and her bridesmaids dressed in pink headed out of the suite to meet David and his groomsmen for group photos. The groom, was dressed in classic wedding attire; a black suit, white button up, and black bow tie. Each of David’s groomsmen matched except instead of a black bow tie, they wore silver ties to ensure the groom stood out. Together, the wedding party posed for pictures, then headed to the ceremony.

Guests entered the courtyard and signed Doris and David’s guest book before taking a seat. Purple, pink and white flowers were arranged on the stage and on both sides of the aisle with petals scattered in-between. Once everyone had arrived and settled in, David made his entrance and the crowd fell silent. Each groomsman and bridesmaid followed and the processional ended with Doris gracefully walking arm-in-arm with her father down the aisle to David. The bride and groom shared handwritten vows in front of family and friends, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Guests cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Inside, tables were draped in white linen and ivory napkins were knotted atop each plate next to a pop of pink printed menu. A Craft Cocktail Bar with an assortment of alcohol allowed guests to mix and muddle their own concoctions with an assortment of herbs, berries, syrups and more. Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed while guests mingled before finding a seat. Meanwhile, Doris and David snuck away for a few newlywed photos, returning shortly after just in time for dinner.

David and Doris put a pair of black sunglasses on and entered the reception as the music and crowd roared for their grand entrance. The two shared a quick thank you speech, then sat for toasts. Friends and family shared stories and clinked glasses, then dinner was served. Chicken Sonoma, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Pear & Walnut Salad were served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany, during their planning process. During dinner, fun games were played and the bouquet was tossed. Once everyone had eaten their fill, David and Doris cut their 3-tiered, chocolate wedding cake with chocolate mousse filling and served slices to their guests. In addition to the cake, our Classic Dessert Station was unveiled revealing Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. There was something sweet for everyone! As the wedding celebration came to a close, David sang to Doris and Doris performed a choreographed dance for David in front of all their guests. Afterwards, the newlyweds made their rounds to each table for memorable group photos and thanked everyone for coming.
