Romantic Floral Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Grand Gimeno

Beatrice relaxed in the Powder Room and enjoyed her time getting pampered for her big day while Franz suited up with the boys inside the Parlor at Grand Gimeno. Once the bride and groom were both ready, the couple met in the Courtyard for their first look. On the count of three, Franz turned around to see his beautiful wife standing before him in a strapless, lace wedding gown. The two shared sweet compliments and a warm embrace before heading to the Olive Grove for the ceremony.

Guests arrived, snapped a polaroid photo, and signed Beatrice and Franz’s guest book. Large floral arrangements lined the ceremony aisle and decorated the space where the bride and groom would soon be standing. A live band serenaded everyone as they entered and took their seats. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Beatrice and Franz read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Crab Cakes and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the Olive Grove for cocktail hour while Neapolitan and Grilled Chicken and Pesto Wood-Fired Pizzas were served at the pizza bar. French 75 and Moscow Mule signature drinks were being poured along with beer and wine while guests mixed and mingled. After plenty of pizza and hors d’oeuvres, everyone headed inside for reception.

Tables were topped in large floral centerpieces, candlesticks, and table numbers. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned seats inside with the help of handwritten name cards placed at each table setting. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table. Pear and Walnut Salad was served as toasts began. Family and friends stood and shared stories about the bride and groom and glasses clinked in the air. The final course of Espresso Crusted Filet Mignon and Black Bean and Sweet Potato Enchiladas with Grilled Corn Esquites, Pasilla Rice, and Fajita Veggies was served just as toasts ended. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, everyone got up to dance and the bride snuck away for a special surprise. Back in the Powder Room, Beatrice got a haircut to surprise Franz. She changed into a party dress and headed out to the Olive Grove where she met her groom in front of a champagne tower. Franz walked out to the sweet surprise and loved the fresh new look. The bride and groom poured and drank champagne while guests enjoyed our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli with Lemon Ricotta Filling, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes inside. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
