Romantic Red Hangar 21 South Wedding

Red and white petals were sprinkled across the side patio stage at Hangar 21 South for Alma and Fernando’s wedding. A modern, black arbor with white floral urns on either side were filled and decorated with eucalyptus and light pink and red flowers creating a romantic atmosphere and setup. The groomsmen in grey and the groom in a dark red tux were all ready for their grand entrance. The bridesmaids dressed in deep red maxi dresses were helping Alma perfect her wedding look just before heading out to line up for the ceremony. With sparkling earrings on and her beautiful lace train perfectly laid out, Alma was ready to walk down the aisle.

Guests stood when Alma made her entrance and Fernando was all smiles when he saw his future wife for the first time that day. The two recited loving vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss in front of their closest family and friends before heading into cocktail hour on the tarmac. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes made their rounds to hungry guests while the bar was serving up cocktails. A Kentucky Mule and Old Fashioned were Alma and Fernando’s specialty signature drinks. While guests sipped and snacked, the newlyweds posted for golden hour photos on the tarmac and took their flight over Orange County.

Inside the hangar, tables were topped with mauve fabric runners and romantic floral arrangements. Candles of different heights were lit and golden table numbers marked where everyone would be sitting. Guests took their seats and cheered as the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. Family and friends made toasts and dinner was served. The first course of Tangerine and Pecan Salad was fully enjoyed. Next, a dual entree course of Filet Mignon, Zucchini Lime Chicken, Fingerling Potatoes, and Grilled Green & White Asparagus was delivered to each table. Alma and Fernando, along with our Event Specialist Brittany, pre-selected the delicious dinner menu during their wedding planning process and wanted to ensure all their guests’ food preferences were being met. Guests gave the dinner 5-stars and rave reviews were shared around each table! The evening ended on a sweet note with the bride and groom cutting into their marble cake with chocolate Bavarian filling and French buttercream icing and serving slices to their guests.
