Romantic Ruby Red and Emerald Green Southern California Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Nicole and Miguel got ready inside Grand Gimeno’s Powder Room and Parlor, posed for photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, then met in the Foyer for their first look. On their photographer’s go, Miguel turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiling from ear to ear, the couple shared sweet compliments and smiled for the camera. After the intimate moment, they were joined by their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids and groomsmen wore black, and pops of deep red florals were incorporated with boutonnieres and bouquets. Laughs were shared and memories were made, then everyone headed to the church to the ceremony.
After tying the knot off-site, guests joined Nicole and Miguel back at Grand Gimeno for cocktail hour in the Olive Grove. Wood-Fired Sweet & Salty Pancetta and Meat Lovers Pizzas were cut and served fresh, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed, and Old Fashioned and Paloma signature drinks were served at the bar. The Olive Grove was decorated in rich reds and emerald greens. Red floral centerpieces topped tables and large floral installs cascaded from the green bar next to a fabric draped cocktail menu. White and black accent chairs with red wine-colored pillows and an emerald green couch created stylish lounge seating, and additional seating was available at the fire pit where red and green pillows were placed. Before heading inside for the reception, guests checked the large ivory and burgundy-colored seating chart for their table assignments.
Inside, a black and white checkered dance floor marked the center of the room. Tables topped with red and white floral centerpieces, wooden table numbers, and taupe candles bordered the dance floor, and some tables sat under an archway of greenery with beautiful pendant lights hanging above. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the head of a table. Family and friends shared toasts and Filet Mignon Carvery, Zucchini Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Ensalada Las Mesas was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, Nicole and Miguel cut into our Vintage Two-Tiered White Chocolate Raspberry Cake and invited all their guests to indulge in our Kouign Amann Dessert Station and Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended out on the dance floor where everyone was showing off their best moves, singing along to the live band, and sharing their well wishes with Nicole and Miguel.
