Romantic Spanish Style Wedding at Serra Plaza

Lisa and Jake tied the knot in a romantic Spanish style wedding at Serra Plaza. Eucalyptus garland marked the pews where everyone would sit while white and red roses and candlelit golden lanterns greeted guests at the beginning of the aisle. The fountain at the head of the aisle was filled with stunning roses that provided a gorgeous backdrop for Lisa and Jake’s vows. A champagne welcome was set up for guests to grab some bubbly as they took their seats and soon everyone was anxiously awaiting the bride. Lisa stepped out in her white wedding gown that had lace detailing on the bodice and sleeves while the lower portion of her dress looked like a beautiful flower. She and Jake exchanged their vows and shared a sweet kiss to seal the deal before everyone was excused for cocktail hour.

Tray passed Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with Bearnaise Sauce, Caprese Skewers with Pesto & Basil drizzled with Aged Balsamic & Olive Oil, Thai Chicken Spring Rolls with Ginger Lime Sauce and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls with Thai Peanut Sauce were served as hors d’oeuvres while guests enjoyed the couple’s signature cocktails at the bar: A Pineapple Margarita and Moscow Mule. After cocktail hour, everyone took their seats and the dinner buffet opened with endless options like Filet Mignon Carvery with Crunchy Onions and Chimichurri, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Santorini Chicken, Agave Salmon, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Almond Rice Pilaf, Green Beans Amandine, and Arugula & Asiago Salad. Toasts were made to the newlyweds before dancing and dessert. A 3-tiered wedding cake was cut, and guests could enjoy a slice of either carrot cake with cream cheese filling, chocolate cake with vanilla Bavarian filling, or almond cake with chocolate mousse filling. If you didn’t fancy cake, rice krispie treat pops and assorted French macarons were available.

A late-night snack of Vegetable Chips with Cucumber Onion Yogurt Dill Dip was available for guests who worked up an appetite from dancing the night away. The party ended at midnight and many unforgettable memories were made.
