Rustic Estate on Second Wedding

With hair and makeup complete, Shelby slipped into her lace wedding dress and accessorized with sparkling jewelry, then it was time for the first reveal. Shelby stood before her bridesmaids who had their eyes closed waiting anxiously to see the bride. On the count of three, everyone opened their eyes and gasps filled the air. Sweet compliments were given, and a group hug was shared. Meanwhile, Jacob and his groomsmen finished suiting up downstairs at The Estate. Jacob sported an emerald velvet tux, and his groomsmen wore grey. With both the parties ready, they lined up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived inside the Crystal Ballroom and found their seats. Rustic barrels, flickering candles, greenery and white flowers decorated the ceremony space. As soon as everyone was settled, Jacob made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Shelby. The bride and groom locked eyes all the way down the aisle and smiles filled their faces. Once joined together, the crowd took a seat. In front of all their family and friends, Shelby and Jacob read personalized vows, exchanged rings, broke glass, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed while guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book. Beer, wine, and specialty cocktails like the bride and groom’s signature drinks, a Moscow Mule and Old Fashioned, were served at the bar while guests mixed and mingled. While everyone enjoyed light bites and refreshment, Shelby and Jacob were off posing for golden hour photos outside of the venue. From the courtyard fountain to the Estate’s Palladian windows, the two cozied up to create lasting memories, then they headed inside for dinner.

Tables were draped in white linen and decorated with garland centerpieces. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables back inside the ballroom. Shortly after, the wedding party made their grand entrances and Shelby and Jacob shared their first dance. Next, toasts were made. Tears and laughs were shared, and glasses filled with champagne clinked in the air after each speech. Dinner was served and plates were filled with Chicken Marsala, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Pear and Walnut Salad and Grilled Marinated Vegetables. After dinner, cake and donuts were served for something sweet and everyone let loose on the dance floor. The evening ended with the bride and groom showing off their best moves and posing with guests at the photo booth for keepsakes.
