Secret Garden Wedding at Hnagar 21 South

Raquel and her bridesmaids finished touching up their hair and makeup in matching pajamas, then changed into their dresses inside the bridal suite at Hangar 21 South. Each bridesmaid wore a lavender, embroidered bodice dress, and the bride wore a white gown with lace details. While the girls posed for group photos, Ryan and his groomsmen finished suiting up on the tarmac. The boys were dressed in blue with lavender ties to match the girls and Ryan had a fresh floral boutonniere pinned to his lapel. Once group photos were complete, the bride and groom met for their first look. With a tap of the shoulder, Ryan turned around to see his stunning bride. Smiles filled both their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged, then their wedding party joined them for some final photos before the ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed Ryan and Raquel’s guest book, then took a seat. Small trees, fresh foliage, and flowers decorated the aisleway and stage. As soon as everyone was accounted for, Ryan led the charge. Raquel was last to make an appearance and locked eyes with her groom the entire walk down the aisle. Together in front of their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour was held on the tarmac just as the sun began to set. Marquee letters spelling, “love” and a green and purple lounge decorated the open space. Guests grabbed drinks from the bar and enjoyed a Charcuterie Tray and Mediterranean Tray to tied themselves over until dinner. While everyone was sipping and snacking, the newlyweds took off on their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for dinner.

Guests checked the floral filled vase seating arrangement, then found their assigned tables inside the hangar. Tables were decorated in lush greenery and topped with custom menus, smoke-colored glassware, and laser cut names. A large floral install hung over the dance floor and strands of lights created an illuminated ceiling and sweetheart table backdrop. When Ryan and Raquel touched down and made their grand entrance from the tarmac, everyone cheered and captured photos of the couple exiting the helicopter. The bride and groom shared their first dance, then took their seats for toasts and dinner. While enjoying burgers, fries, and fresh vegetables from our Vegetable Tray assortment, friends and family shared speeches and glasses clinked in the air. After, Raquel changed into her second look and tossed her bouquet, then invited everyone to the dance floor. The evening ended with guests showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well before heading home.
