Something Blue at The Rose Center

After tying the knot at their church, the best surprise awaited Emilyn and Daniel at The Rose Center. The bride and groom heard little footsteps clicking close by and turned to find their dog making a special appearance during cocktail hour! The couple picked up their pup and posed for photos together before sending their dog back home and joining their guests for the remainder of cocktail hour. As guests arrived in the courtyard, they signed Emilyn and Daniel’s guest book, then grabbed a drink at the bar. The bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Mojito and Crown and Coke, were popular picks while servers tray passed Crab Cakes, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts. Games of cornhole were played and guests mixed and mingled before being asked to come inside for dinner.

Inside, tables were draped in white linen and centerpieces with pops of blue added a bit of color to the reception space. The sweetheart table was covered in fresh florals and a heart-shaped backdrop stood tall behind. As soon as everyone found their assigned tables, Emilyn and Daniel made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took their seats. Friends and family made toasts and drinks clinked in the air as each speech ended. The buffet opened filled with Kofta Kabob, Grilled Greek Chicken Kabobs, Basmati Rice, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Pita Bread, Grilled Vegetables, and Greek Salad, and guests filled their plates. While everyone was eating, Emilyn surprised Daniel with a choreographed dance and everyone cheered as more and more people joined in the fun. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 3-tiered wedding cake and invited guests to enjoy a slice or indulge in the dessert station. The evening ended out on the dance floor where guests grabbed a dance with the bride and groom before heading home.
