Spring Pastel Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Jane and her bridal party popped champagne inside the Powder Room and got ready for the big day while Lawrence and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor. After lots of photos and fun, the bride and groom stepped out into Grand Gimeno’s Courtyard while family and friends peeked through the suite windows to get a good look. Lawrence opened his eyes to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace wedding dress and smiles immediately filled their faces. Sweet compliments were exchanged as the wedding party oohed and aahed from the sidelines, then joined the couple for group pictures. The wedding party wore soft pink and tan to go with the pastel palette of the wedding. Everyone smiled for the camera creating lasting memories for years to come, then lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Lawrence and Jane’s guest book, then took a seat. Pastel pink and blue flowers lined the aisle and decorated a circular ceremony arch that stood tall under the olive trees. Once everyone was I attendance, the live music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Jane. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Crab Cakes and Caprese Skewers made their rounds for cocktail hour while the bar served up Old Fashioned and Italian Margarita signature drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled while the newlyweds snuck away for romantics. After posing for photos as husband and wife, Jane and Lawrence made it back to cocktail hour just in time for a few selfies before heading inside for the reception.
Tables surrounded a white and taupe checkered dance floor and were topped with tan table numbers, red and white wine, ivory candlesticks, and pastel floral arrangements. Jane and Lawrence made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Ensalada Las Mesas followed by Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs and Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon with Gochujang Brussels Sprouts and Wasabi Mashed Potatoes was served while the newlyweds made their rounds to each table. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. While everyone enjoyed their meal, friends and family stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air as each toast ended, then the bride and groom invited everyone to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended with a late-night In N Out snack surprise and everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
