Spring Whites at Grand Gimeno

Megan and her bridesmaids and Alex and his groomsmen got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno on the morning of their wedding. Alex suited up and headed to the breezeway where he stood and waited for his bride. Megan slipped into her dress and met her groom outside for their first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Alex around to see Megan standing before him. The two exchanged sweet compliments, then were joined by their wedding party for pictures. The bridesmaids wore sage, and the groomsmen wore black. Together, the group smiled for photos in front of the venue then lined up for ceremony.

White flowers arranged with greenery marked the back of the aisle and ceremony backdrop in the Olive Grove. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Megan and Alex recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Wood-Fired Classic BBQ Chicken Pizza was cooking and being served fresh from the oven while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Cadillac Margarita, were being poured at the bar. Guests mixed and mingled and posed for pictures with the bride and groom, then it was time to head inside for reception.

Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and custom printed menus topped each plate. Megan and Alex made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Chicken Santorini, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Pear and Walnut Salad were served. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air and the meal service concluded with our Latin Dessert Station with an assortment of Petite Tres Leches Cakes, Mini Caramel Custard Flan, Coconut Macaroons, Dulce de Leche Chocolate Tarts, and Mexican Wedding Cookies. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
