Springtime Floral Wedding at Hangar 21 South

A tap on the shoulder turned Daniel around to see his beautiful bride, Corri, standing before him in a strapless white wedding dress holding a bouquet of blue, green, and peach flowers. Smiles immediately filled the couple’s faces and sweet compliments were exchanged, then the bride and groom joined their wedding party for group photos. The groomsmen were suited up in black and the bridesmaids were dressed in blue. Together the friends posed for the camera and lined up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Hangar 21 South side patio, signed Daniel and Corri’s guest book, then took a seat. Spring-colored floral pillars stood tall on stage and matching arrangements lined the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their family and friends, Corri and Daniel read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

On the tarmac, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Moscow Mule and Espresso Martini. Guests mixed and mingled while the bride and groom snuck away for photos with the Hangar helicopter. Upon their return to cocktail hour, guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables inside the hangar.

String lights were draped from the ceiling above tables topped with light pink, lime, and light blue floral centerpieces. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Emily. After dinner, the couple cut into our red velvet cake and invited their guests to indulge in something sweet for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out of their chairs and on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
