Springtime Wedding at Serra Plaza

Alyssa and Chris sealed their Mission Basilica ceremony with a kiss, posed for photos at Mission San Juan Capistrano, then lined up at Serra Plaza for their Courtyard ceremony. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and found a seat under sparkling chandeliers. Pink, peach, and yellow flowers marked the ceremony space and decorated the Spanish fountain for the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances and took their places. In front of all their closest family and friends, Chris and Alyssa read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed around the Lounge while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Melon Margarita and Adios. Chris and Alyssa snuck away for photos together as husband and wife as guests mixed and mingled, and upon the bride and groom’s return, it was time for the reception.

Back in the Courtyard, tables were topped with peachy floral centerpieces, colorful candles, and wavy sage green table numbers. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared while Zucchini Lime Chicken, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Almond Rice Pilaf, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Pear and Walnut Salad were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the couple cut into our Confetti Vintage Cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua Da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. Satisfied with sweet treats, the evening ended with one big group photo, lots of dancing, and a glow stick send off.
