Stylish Black and White Wedding at Serra Plaza

Tillman dressed in a black suit, and Christine wearing white, met upstairs for their first look at Serra Plaza. With a tap of the shoulder, Tillman turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and an emotional exchange was shared. The couple read personalized vows and happy tears were shared, then they headed to Mission San Juan Capistrano to meet their wedding party for group pictures. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in black and greeted Christine and Tillman with excitement. Together, the group wandered around the mission and smiled for the camera. Once plenty of photos were taken, everyone headed back to Serra Plaza where the ceremony was about to start.

Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and headed into the courtyard to take a seat. White petals lined the aisle and matching flowers and greenery decorated the Spanish fountain. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made the entrances ending with Christine. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed for cocktail hour while Paloma and Georgia Peach signature drinks were poured at the bar. Guests mixed and mingled inside while the bride and groom posed for photos together as husband and wife. A black seating chart helped guests find their assigned reception seats at the end of cocktail hour, and everyone headed outside.

Tables were topped with white floral arrangements and chandeliers hung above the outdoor reception. The newlyweds made their grand entrance and shared their first dance while guests cheered from their seats, then dinner was served. Pear and Walnut Salad was followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Heirloom Carrots and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. Toasts were shared and the cake was cut. Tillman and Christine invited everyone to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curb and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots and Kouign Amann Station to end the meal service on a sweet note. The evening ended with plenty of dancing and a fun send off in front of Serra Plaza.
