Summertime Green and White Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Morgan and Spencer met in the Grand Gimeno Courtyard for their first look on the morning of their wedding day. The couple shared private, handwritten vows and posed for photos together before lining up for their wedding ceremony as guests entered the Olive Grove. One by one, each guest signed the bride and groom’s guest book and took a seat. White flowers mixed with greenery decorated pillars at the head of the aisle and were arranged marking the back. Once everyone was seated, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Spencer and Morgan recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed, Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Classic BBQ Chicken Pizzas were cut and served, and the bar was pouring Aperol Spritz and Skinny Margarita signature cocktails. Each bar napkin had a special handwritten note from Morgan’s students of what they believe love means. Guests mixed and mingled in the Olive Grove while the newlyweds posed for romantics around the venue. Upon their return, it was time to head inside for the reception.

Tables topped in white florals bordered a white and green checkered dance floor. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Chicken Marsala, Tri-Tip Carvery, Almond Rice Pilaf, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, Tangerine and Pecan Salad and Jay’s Famous Cheese Rolls were served. The dinner menu was selected with help from our event specialist, Savannah. After dinner the newlyweds cut into our Vintage Heart Cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, Tiramisu Dessert Shots, and Spumoni Tarts. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with Morgan and Spencer.
