Sunset Hues Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Katrina met Francis outside of Hangar 21 for their first look. On the photographer’s signal, Francis turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace detail wedding dress and smiles immediately filled their faces. Sweet compliments were exchanged, then the couple joined their wedding party on the tarmac for group pictures. The bridesmaids were dressed in peach, orange, and tan, and the groomsmen wore black. Together the friends smiled for the camera creating lasting memories, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Orange, blush, and white flowers lined the aisle and decorated the stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Katrina and Francis shared their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the tarmac while the bar served up Aperol Spritz and Pineapple Margarita signature drinks. White and taupe-colored lounges were situated on either side of the tarmac for guests to sit back and relax while watching small planes take off and land. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head into the hangar for the reception.

Tables were topped with garland table runners and pops of orange. Katrina and Francis made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Tangerine and Pecan Salad followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes were served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in a slice for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
