Swoon-Worthy Hangar 21 South Reception

Cherisse and Candido’s wedding reception was quite the extravagant event at Hangar 21 South. Black details with pops of champagne and light pink transformed the hangar into a stunning, romantic space. Orchids, ranunculus, anthurium and roses graced each tabletop while painted palms of purple, blue, green and pink hung above. It was like nothing we have seen before but had us swooning!

As guests awaited Cherisse and Candido’s grand helicopter entrance, hors d’oeuvres were being tray passed and grazed through. A European & Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray station was set up while Crab Cakes, and Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons made their way around the venue. Guests were lined up with cellphones out to capture the newlywed’s helicopter grand entrance. With their family and friends cheering loudly from the sidelines, Cherisse and Candido stepped out of their helicopter ride and made their way into the hangar where they shared their first dance.

Once everyone was seated, dinner was served family style and toasts were shared. Pear Salad, Agave Salmon, Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Chargrilled Polenta with Gorgonzola, and Grilled Green & White Asparagus with Heirloom Carrots was passed around each table family style.

After dinner, the cake was cut, guests indulged in desserts and then they hit the dance floor. Egg, Bacon & Cheese Breakfast Burritos and Tater Tots were handed out as a late-night snack for those who danced so hard they worked up an appetite.
