Tarmac and Late Night Snacks

Just in front of the Hangar 21 South garage door was a diamond shaped ceremony backdrop decorated in an assortment of flowers and greenery for Van and Shawn’s wedding day. Guests began filling up the tarmac chairs awaiting the bride and groom. Live music cued up and the wedding party made their entrance down the aisle. First was Shawn followed by his groomsmen dressed in sleek suits arm-in-arm with bridesmaids dressed in pale grey maxi dresses. Lastly was Van dressed in a lace, strapless wedding dress. Shawn couldn’t wipe the smile off his face when he saw his beautiful bride walking towards him. Sweet vows were exchanged, and the ceremony was sealed with a kiss before guests headed into cocktail hour where Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Ahi Poke Cones and Braised Pork Belly Steamed Buns were tray passed. The bar opened and was serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails: Mojitos and Old Fashions. Van and Shawn took off on their helicopter ride over Orange County while guests found their seats for dinner inside the hangar. Everyone turned towards the tarmac and cheered when they heard the helicopter landing. Van and Shawn stepped out for their grand entrance. Their first dance was shared in front of family and friends before the first course of everyone’s plated meal was served which was a refreshing Pomegranate Salad. Next up was Zucchini Lime Chicken, Classic Filet Mignon, Atlantic Salmon or Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano with Grilled Green and White Asparagus with Heirloom Carrots and Pear Potato. Toasts were made and memories were shared before the Classic Dessert Station opened with an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts and Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs. To add a surprise for their guests, Shawn and Van added on Kouign Ammans for their guests to enjoy for dessert. Photos were taken in the photo booth and lots of dancing went down on the dance floor. So much so that everyone worked up an appetite and indulged in the late-night snacks the newlyweds knew would come in handy. Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs and a French Fry Bar were thoroughly enjoyed before wrapping up this amazing evening.
