Timeless Wedding With Spanish Charm

The wedding began when Dana turned the corner into Serra Plaza’s Grand Plaza Courtyard to walk the hydrangea lined and rose petal filled aisleway. Andrew’s eyes immediately filled with loving tears as she drew nearer. A unity ceremony was performed by pouring two different colored sands into one clear vessel signifying the coming together of both families into one new family. Dana and Andrew exchanged endearing vows and sealed things with a sweet kiss. From there on out, the newlyweds were grinning from ear to ear the rest of the evening.

Dana and Andrew snuck away during the reception hour for pictures as guests were served tray passed hors d’oeuvres that consisted of our filet and wild mushroom wellingtons and roasted red cherry tomato bruschetta, and as the sun set into golden hour, you could really feel the luxurious, yet intimate ambiance and Spanish charm Serra Plaza has to offer. Large, black wood stained tables decorated with crisp, bright white hydrangeas and roses played off the timeless, elegant theme as the dinner buffet opened. Grilled marinated vegetables, pear and walnut salad, mashed potatoes, tortellini with creamy pesto and Santorini chicken with lemon herb seasoning garnished with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, red bell peppers and shredded fresh basil graced guests’ plates.

After dinner, everyone was invited to indulge in our dessert bar that consisted of assorted fruit tarts, vanilla bean chocolate eclairs, dark chocolate ganache brownies, butterscotch blondies, oreo cheesecake squares, and a large old fashioned cookie assortment with chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, white chunk macadamia nut, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter cookies. Once everyone had their fill, the dance floor lit up with guests and the newlyweds. The lively energy lasted all night through the sparkler send-off.
