Vintage Vows at The Estate on Second‍

Sarah buttoned up the back of her wedding gown inside The Estate on Second then headed upstairs where her bridesmaids waited with eyes closed for the big reveal. On the count of three, the bridesmaids opened their eyes and saw Sarah in her bridal attire for the first time that day. Gasps and sweet compliments filled the room and hugs were shared. The girls were handed their white floral bouquets and posed for photos before heading outside for Sarah and Andrew’s first look. The wedding party stood on the sideline as Sarah tapped Andrew’s shoulder. Smiles filled both their faces and an emotional exchange was shared, then everyone lined up for ceremony inside.

A welcome sign marked the entry to Sarah and Andrew’s wedding where everyone would sign the bride and groom’s guest book before heading inside. White flowers and greenery lined the aisle in the Crystal Ballroom and vines crept up the walls and windows. As soon as everyone had taken a seat, music cued up and Andrew made his entrance. Guests stood the second they saw the bride enter the ceremony and she gracefully made her way over to her groom. In front of all their family and friends, Sarah and Andrew recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

The newlyweds headed out in a vintage car for golden hour romantics with their photographer while guests headed to cocktail hour. Crab Cakes, Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, and Black Bean and Sweet Potato Empanadas were tray passed and a Bao Bar with Roasted Pork Belly, Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken and Asian Cucumber Salad was set up for guests to enjoy. While everyone was grabbing a little something to eat, the bar was pouring the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Salty Dog. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time for dinner. Each guest grabbed a glass of champagne, checked their escort card to find their seat, and headed back into the Crystal Ballroom.

Sparkling chandeliers hung above, and centerpieces filled with white flowers sprung up atop each table. Once guests were seated, Sarah and Andrew made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and champagne glasses clinked in the air, then dinner was served. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Filet Mignon Carvery, Penne Alla Checca, Almond Rice Pilaf, Roasted Broccolini, Wild Cherry Salad filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany. As soon as dinner was done, the cake cutting commenced. Slices of cake were passed out for dessert to end the meal service with a little something sweet. Full of energy from dinner and dessert, guests hit the dance floor to show off their best moves. Dance circles were formed, and laughs were shared as the evening came to an end. The newlyweds made their grand exit outside while everyone shook pom poms around them. Sarah and Andrew hopped into their vintage car and drove off as husband and wife!
