“We Go Together Like…” A Sip & Spill by Jay’s Catering Hosted at Grand Gimeno

At Jay’s, we’ve always believed that the best events are built on great pairings, not just food and drink, but people. Our latest Sip & Spill industry event, “We Go Together Like…”, was a celebration of just that: the seamless collaboration between vendors who come together to create something truly unforgettable. Hosted at Grand Gimeno, the evening brought together a curated group of photographers, planners, videographers, and content creators, the creative partners who help tell the story of every event we design. This night was our way of celebrating those relationships!

Guests were welcomed into the Foyer with Mini Corn Dogs and an Arnold Palmer station. Shortly after arrivals, our COO, Armand, and Sales Director, Hannah, gathered guests for a few inspiring words, sharing the heart behind the Sip & Spill and the importance of collaboration in our industry. From there, the celebration moved outdoors to the Olive Grove, where the evening came to life. In a moment that set the tone for what was to come, Armand sabered a champagne bottle starting the cocktail style portion of the event off on a fun note.

Each food and drink station was thoughtfully designed around iconic pairings, mirroring the theme of the event: Tacos & Margaritas, Lobster Rolls and Rosé, Paella and Sangria, and Berries and Champagne. Each station wasn’t just about flavor, it was about storytelling. From the specialty rentals and beautiful florals to the custom signage and music that filled the air, every detail was intentional.

Adding to the evening’s sense of discovery, guests were invited to take part in a unique experiential activation with Orange County Pearls. Opening an oyster to reveal a hidden pearl, attendees created their own custom jewelry pieces.

This Sip & Spill was more than just a pretty event, it was a reminder that what we create is never done alone. Behind every beautifully captured moment, every flawlessly executed timeline, and every detail shared online, there is a team of passionate creatives working together. Just like tacos and margaritas, or berries and champagne…some things are simply better together.
