Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal at Grand Gimeno

Guests arrived in a candlelit Foyer for Regina and Klint’s wedding anniversary vow renewal at Grand Gimeno. Our terracotta fireplace was illuminated with the glow of flickering flame and floral arrangements topped the mantle and decorated the aisle. With everyone accounted for, the ceremony began. Regina in a light pink, embroidered gown and Klint dressed in a black tux walked down the aisle together with their littlest family members. Together in front of their intimate crowd, the husband and wife duo renewed their vows after 40 years together and Klint surprised Regina with a sparkly new ring. After exchanging sweet words, the two shared a sweet kiss to conclude the ceremony.

Cocktail hour took place in the Olive Grove where guests could watch our chefs grilling their asado dinner over open flame. Choripan and Wood-Fired Pizzas were available as hors d’oeuvres and Old Fashioned and Paloma cocktails were being poured at the bar along with other refreshing beverages. Conversations were shared around ivory draped cocktail tables and a rustic-inspired lounge offered a relaxing place to sit back and enjoy the ambiance. By the end of cocktail hour, you could really smell the delicious dinner cooking. Everyone was ready to take a seat.

Under the olive trees ran a long table draped in our Cambria linen. Wicker chargers, glassware, bronze flatware and blush napkins completed each place setting and tall candlesticks intermingled with floral garland running the length of the table. Guests found their seats and watched as Regina kicked off the reception with a special dance for her husband. Afterwards, she was joined by Klint for a dance together, then dinner was served. Entrana, Pollo a la Parrilla, Tomato and Onion Salad, Potato Egg and Mustard Salad, Ensalada Las Mesas, and Chimichurri. The special occasion called for our experiential Asado Menu and our Event Specialist, Lauren, helped the couple finalize their dinner selections. Each guest got to take their plate to the outdoor bar and fill up on fresh off the grill meats and sides. After dinner, everyone enjoyed Caramel Custard Flan with Whipped Cream and Fresh Strawberries and an Old Fashioned Cookie Assortment. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
