Whimsy Gypsophila Estate on Second Wedding

Hanul and her bridesmaids and Andrew and his groomsmen arrived at The Estate on Second ready for the big day. The girls slipped on their heels and headed upstairs for the bride and groom’s first look where the guys were already waiting. With a tap of the shoulder, Andrew turned around to see his stunning bride. Everyone in the room lit up with smiling faces as soon as Andrew and Hanul saw each other. Bridesmaids took photos from the sidelines while the couple soaked up their first look moment, then everyone came together for group pictures. The girls held bouquets of peach and white flowers that matched the men’s boutonnieres and memories were made before the group lined up for ceremony back downstairs.

Guests arrived, signed Hanul and Andrew’s guest book, then took a seat inside the Crystal Ballroom ready for the ceremony. Pillars of gypsophila bordered the center Palladian window and sparking chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was in attendance, Andrew made his appearance down the aisle followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Hanul. In front of all their closest friends and family, the two recited vows, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss as husband and wife. The recessional song came on and the wedding party made their exit into cocktail hour.

The bar was serving up Andrew and Hanul’s signature cocktails, a Georgia Peach and Tokyo Tea, while tray passed Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts made their rounds to hungry guests. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time for dinner. Guests were called to check the seating chart and head back into the Crystal Ballroom for reception.

Ivory linens topped each table and flowers sprouted up from little bud vases as décor. The gypsophila pillars now were the sweetheart table backdrop and individual menus were tucked into napkins at each place setting. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat. Dinner was ready. First, a Pear and Walnut Salad, then Lemon and Thyme Chicken and Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano with Fingerling Potatoes were served. The menu was While guests ate, friends and family shared toasts and clinked glasses as each speech came to an end. Afterwards, Andrew and Hanul snuck away to cut their 2-tiered almond cake with cappuccino creme filling in private. Each shared a bite and sipped on champagne to wash it down, then headed back to their table to thank their guests for coming to celebrate their love story. The bride and groom visited each table to share their thanks individually to end the evening. Everyone exchanged hugs and guests sent Andrew and Hanul home with well wishes.
